Notifications gone wild

Strating yesterday, I am getting email notifications for new posts on threads I have participated in when I haven't requested it, and I am getting notifications very very late and for posts and messages I have already seen.  This morning, I got another notification for a private message that I had replied to 2 days ago.

I have been randomly getting response notifications too. I thought the person was sending the PM twice because I've gotten multiple notifications but it looks like thats a glitch too.

Try going to your community settings > subcriptions & notifications. You should be able to turn it off there. I have always gotten emails about those things. I never turned it off.

Lithium is working on a fix and we should have a timeline soon. They are having global issues with notifications.

If you are receiving excessive notifications, you can temporarily (or permanently if you choose) turn off notifications in your profile settings.

Go to Profile>Settings>Subscriptions and Notifications>Notifications Settings

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
