Are you certain that it is made of wood? Do you see any chips or cracks where you could zoom in on some underlying wood grain? There is a lot of very convincing cast resin out there. Not saying yours is resin, but it's smart to start these threads with stating the basics.
from the back it looks like wood,but they can make it look like wood,look at the carving,does it look like it is handcarved or come out of a mold? the ladies are too sensual and erotic to be Chinese,but the features are not Hindu,could be SE Asian.
