Nice coin, *smedley*, and thanks for sharing. I recently added a 1925 Mongolia 5 Mongo (KM # 3.2) to my collection of world coins.  On a side note, I rec'd a 1954-D Wheatie in my change yesterday at Speedway. That just made my day !  grin

had to look 'cause i couldn't remember... the Mongolian coin in the set is just an '81 50 mongo... had to look up your to see what it was, looks like it could be a very pretty coin...

some of mine are really nice and/or silver crown(ish) - US is a VF '21 Peace, Canuckland is an UNC SML, Ceylon is an UNC '57 5 rupees - but many fall into the 10 cent category...

That is a VERY cool coin.   Krause seems to say it wasn't exactly "official", likely issued as a souvenir.

I remember when these came out. They were being sold to raise funds for the Anguillan independence movement.

Didn't work.
