I have the same issue if I use Chrome browser. But it seems working good if I use Microsoft Edge. Hope eBay can fix this issue soon.

Maybe if you gave us an example of your search wording, we might be able to say why that is happening.
Some times results are skewed by search term wording. A little while ago I did a search based on a sold item I had in my watch list. The item was made by several Mfrs. but even omitting the brand names, the results page said 2 results, but there were 60 plus listings for the item all using all of my search wording.
Sometimes too many words in a search gets strange results, and other times it is too few words doing the same thing.

Using same search terms the produced hundreds of items just yesterday and preceding days suddenly only produce 2 items.

Same thing here with me, ebay will only list two items when I know there are hundreds of items, example, try a search for Radio Shack CB radios, when I am not logged in, hundreds of listings show up, when I am logged in, shows no exact matches and then shows me 2 listings with the exact search words I typed in. What is up with that?

maybe this is eBay's idea of an April Fools joke

Several times in the past few months using chrome on my laptop I would get 0 results back on a weekly search that usually returns over 100 items. When I pulled up the advance search screen I noticed "Only show items from" was checked and my username was in the box. After removing the check and my username the search worked fine. I never determined why/how the info was imputed.

In my case, it becomes normal today.
