I have bought two items 4-7-2020. The listing indicated DAYTON,OHIO. The items are under two pounds total was $9.16 and I anticipated shipping from DAYTON to be $10.00 or s. To my surprise I received a revised statement from the seller for $35.44 and found the sellers actual location is in CHINA.I am sure that I got slammed for CHINA shipping and duty fees.I have yet to receive the item.E-BAY is not providing telephone help. How do I resolve this

Hi, I'm not sure I fully understand but they can't process further charges unless you paid them. You are not required to pay any hidden fees. Also there is no custom fees for items arriving to the states. Has the estimated arrival date passed? You will have to wait to open a case after this date.

Did you pay that revised invoice with the increased shipping charge?
I would strongly suggest you contact eBay concerning your situation.
Email by using the Help & Contact link on every eBay page, then use "Email us" toward the bottom of the page.

It's my understanding that customer service has been fairly responsive, considering the circumstances of the coronavirus situation in so many places.
Good luck!

This isn't making sense. When I buy something here I see the shipping cost right away before buying it. After buying it I pay for it including that shipping charge. Are you saying you bought and paid for it and now the seller is asking for more? If so, file an INR in the correct time frame and neg the seller.

So, I want to make sure I understand this. You paid the original price for the item, right? THEN you received a SECOND invoice from the seller asking for more money?
If that's the case, just ignore the second invoice. When the item doesn't arrive by the latest estimated delivery date--which it apparently won't--just file an "Item Not Received" refund request in eBay's Resolution Center the following day.
If the seller cannot provide tracking that proves delivery, you will win the case and receive a refund.
All the eBay call centers are closed, so, no, they're not taking phone calls. That's why I gave you all their contact information for email, Facebook and Twitter.

Whenever I buy I always click U.S. only as I do not wish to incur possible customs charges and long waiting time. The original listing stated DAYTON,OHIO,the revised listing and different photo of the item and higher cost now states HONG KONG/SHANGHAI. E-BAY is no longer taking phone calls and the online dispute center does not have my complaint listed.

So it sounds like it was a multi quantity listing. The seller revised the listing the revised listing should have no effect on your order before the revision. Your item should still come from Ohio by the estimated delivery date if it doesn't you file a case

Ain't that just what I said?

The seller could have been drop shipping from Ohio and stock ran out so they changed the listing to shipping from China with a different item
What you bought it as would still apply for you. The revised listing doesn't affect your order.
Unless you make a really high price purchase there is no customs charges for item comings into the US

Customs or other charges have been made. The items cost was $9.16 weight under three pounds If shipped from OHIO USPS cost cannot be more than $6.00 to $7.00.Seller charged a total of $35.44

I suggest that you check the USPS web site regarding the cost of shipping a package 2.8 lbs. The domestic PM rate within the same zip code for a package of that weight is over eight dollars. So your $6-$7 estimate isn't accurate.

Even if it is not accurate I was still charged twice what I should have been.

Sellers cannot revise a listing that has ended. If an item has been sold from a multi-item fixed price listing, the seller can revise the listing (such as changing the item location or shipping cost) but that change does not apply to earlier purchases. At the top of the listing you should see a statement with a link that will take you to the listing as it was when you purchased the item.
