First you have to decide what type and style of clock your looking for. Then you can use both eBay and internet searches to read reviews to see if there are any issues with the models your thinking about. Once you have made a choice, you can search eBay for that model of clock.
You can find current production or vintage antiques on eBay.

You will need to use the search function on the eBay site. Of course, as with everything, determining what is a quality clock is something that may take some knowledge and experience. That will have to be done after locating the particular clock that you are considering.

you should go for a lecoulte or Jaeger lecoultre clock
they are a joy to look at and some of the members of this board have a great selection
clock prices have been down for a few years and there are many good deals on "pretty and running"
