Try the help button, or social media for assistance:
Might try and post your problem here on the boards. It is a user to user system, and for sure in more direct than the CS of eBay.

There is no number, it’s strictly a “don’t call us, we’ll call you” system

If you post your problem here we can probably help you with it. Many of us have been buying and selling on ebay for years and have lots of experience helping people. Things we need to know are:
Date of purchase and the last estimated delivery date.
Did you try to cancel or not pay?
Did you receive the item and was it as described?
Did you buy several items but the order was short a few?
Did the item not show up, but tracking showed delivered?
Did you try contacting the seller, and if you did, was there a reply and what did they say?

Sorry, I can't explain why there is no call number. The system now is set up to call you, but you have to request a call.
At the bottom of eBay pages (not these community pages) there is a Help & Contact link.
There are several help links at the top of the page. Many users will find an answer to their problem there.
At the bottom of the page there is a Contact Us link. This link will prompt to to define your reason for contact.
You can request an agent from the automated assistant and they will call you at your registered phone number. I have found it only takes a few minutes.
This is actually simpler than the old method where you called the number, entered a code and were put on hold for up to an hour.
Expect this, too, to change when people start abusing it.

Sounds like you work for the company. Great cover story.

So someone comes here seeking help. An experienced eBayer offers help and advice.
Your remark is "Sounds like you work for the company". May I ask why?
