So the item says $6.55 then when I select a size and color the cost goes to $20? It does not matter on the size or color. This is deceiving and I do not like wasting my time when I am looking for an item.

Can you give an item number?

I get that a lot when looking at items, especially the Chinese sellers.
They have an item that is $6.55 and when you check the items that you really want, they have much higher prices.
This is the way these sellers get better searching when it comes to prices.
Example:
Right now, I am checking out wigs for a display.
They will have a variety of wigs and a wig stand.
The wig stand is the cheapest thing and then the prices on the wigs jump at least another $10.00
There spheres where the wooden stand is the cheapest and the crystals/stones jump the prices . . . and so on

As long as you shop using Price: lowest first and do not check the U.S. only filter in the left column you will continue to see mostly those listings. Multi Variation listings are allowed by ebay as long as the lowest priced item matches the photo and description and the lowest priced item is in stock. If the lowest price item is different from the photo use the Report item button on the listing page. It is mostly Chinese sellers who use those listings inappropriately that is why checking the U.S. location is important.

It is because it is a advertising scheme that is allowed by eBay.
Just like in this example I am looking for 7x5x3 boxes. The search results say 100 to 400 $23.95 to $128.95.
So you would think that the minimum purchase amount of 100 is $23.95.
When you click on the link you are taken to the listing page. When you click on 100 boxes the price jumps up to $44.95. So what is up with this? Where are the 100 starting at $23.95?
