Hello there, posting in the hope that someone might reply with some guidance.
I want to ask if items which are for sale on auction and won through bidding, are able to be paid with PayPal credit?
If they are, how can this be verified before the auction ends?
Best wishes,

My understanding is that for items where the seller requires a payment method in advance to submit a bid or make an offer, PayPal credit is not an option since eBay cannot place a reversible payment hold on a loan like that.
If when you place a bid or make an offer you are prompted to provide a payment method, or if eBay indicates your previously chosen default payment method will be charged, those purchases would not be eligible for payment by PayPal credit.

Thank you very much for the answer.
When I place a bid, I do not get prompted for any payment method input, only the dialogue box for the bid input. Also i feel a little hopeful, as on the product page i want to buy the item from I can see a little sign that shows PayPal credit as an option, but still not sure if its just for info, or does actually apply, as its a bit separate from other payment options. Would love to know if you have any more thoughts...

I can see a little sign that shows PayPal credit ...
@harisali09
If that "little sign" is displayed on the listing page, it is purely an advertisement. You will have to check with PayPal and see if you qualify for PayPal credit. After that, when the product and circumstances are eligible, you will be given that choice when you are directed to PayPal to pay for your purchase.
As @eburtonlab suggested, if you are ever prompted to provide a payment source in order to proceed, PayPal credit will NOT be an option for you even after you are approved to use it.
I know this from years ago when I sold here. My buyer left me a negative review saying "seller shows PayPal Credit and would let us use it". Well eBay does say the seller is responsible for the listing content, but it was simply the advertisement that eBay placed there without my permission or consent.
