Switch counterfeit concerns

I purchased a Nintendo Switch for £227 brand new with improved battery. It's a UK seller since 2011 with 100% feedback. But then you see one's from China for around the same price. The serial codes all match up to legit EU ones. Does anyone know if there are a lot of fakes about? I don't wanna get stung as Ebay can be dodgy for that stuff. Nintendo live chat said all seems legit to them.

@katieeb111,

Anyone can copy photos of legitimate Nintendo switch boxes off the internet, and the chinese sellers are well known for doing that. Better that you stick with the Registered as a business seller in the U.K., even if you pay a little more. China is the worlds leader in manufacturing and sales of counterfeit items.

Since you are a UK buyer, you might want to check the UK discussion boards to see what UK members are saying about their experiences with Nintendo Switch purchases.

Also, here's the link to the ebay.co.uk Resolution Centre, where you would initiate a case (which, hopefully, you won't need):

or the UK PayPal site:
