Request total Error

It's more than likely happening because the seller has not set up combined shipping on there selling site.

@pepe-7159,

Not all sellers combine shipping costs, and ebay does not require them to do that.  If a seller does not mention that they will combine shipping on their listing pages, you cannot assume that they will.

If a seller does not mention combining shipping, you should contact them before committing to buy.

If you bought items from a seller who lists similar items, and has a shipping rule set up (Ex: buy 1 item, pay $5. Each additional add .50cents). The additional items must be from the same listing. Otherwise you are paying the 1 item shipping price for each item you buy.

Does the seller state in their listing that combine shipping ?

If not  may not be available to you

In either case you can contact seller who can send you an invoice with/with out shipping discount

Thank you for contacting eBay customer support regarding purchasing items. My name is Priyanka and I am happy to help you.

I understand that you wish to purchase12 items from one seller and you have already added them in your cart. However, you are facing error while requesting total for the same. Rest assured, I have shared the relevant information to assist you with this.

I have checked this with our technical support team, and they have confirmed that it’s a temporary technical issue on eBay sites. The employees there make a lot of effort to quickly find the cause and find a solution. Meanwhile, I have sent your account again too as a sample to our technical team. This may take some time. I wish I could set an absolute timeframe for you on when they would reply to us.

Tech issues are complex, even if on the surface they seem like a simple fix. The programming controlling a website's behavior can be pages long, and very detailed to go through and find the problem. Depending on the issue, simply trying the feature again will show if it is working again.

Further, as a workaround I would suggest you to try again to request total after 24 hours.

Peter, I understand how important this is for you however I can assure you that our technical team is working hard to resolve the issue, they have not specified the specific time as they are trying their best to find the root cause of the issue. I request your kind patience in this matter.

This is a rare occurrence I though understand it is an inconvenience for our members and thus, please consider our apologies for the inconvenience. I appreciate your patience all throughout such situation.

I'm optimistic that the information provided to you is useful. Thank you for choosing eBay, you are a valued user.

Hope you and your family is safe and healthy. Stay Safe and Take Care.

Kind Regards,

Priyanka

@pepe-7159,

I see that you are registered in Slovakia, did you click on the Shipping and Payments tab of any of the listings to see if the seller ships to your country?  A listing can show a seller Ships to: Worldwide but they may exclude countries they do not wish to ship to.  That information can be found by clicking on the tab.
