Posting feedback

For some reason when I leave positive FB on items I just purchased they do not get posted. When I try to repeat this action I get a message that I already left FB or I waited past the allotted time. But yet it shows no FB left!  Again, the FB was for items that were just delivered. I never had this problem a week ago, just in the last couple of days. Has anyone else had this problem? I even tried on another computer with the same results. I want to thank great sellers but am unable to do so. eBay glitch??

There are some sellers who have the privilege that FB is held for up to seven days after placement.

The advantage is that the seller can appeal negative FB and have it removed.

These are usually mega-sellers.

In any case, FB is not used by eBay to assess member accounts. It is voluntary and less than 40% of transactions get any.

If there is a problem use the Resolution Centre, not feedback.

You can send the seller a Message with your thanks. He is actually more likely to see that than the mechanical feedback.

Hey there @css2001 are you sure it's not posted already? Sometimes it may take a moment to show up, but if you're getting the error that it was already posted then most likely it was and is taking time to show.

One method to see what feedback you left for others is to click on your own feedback and then click on feedback left for others. It should show there.

Again, I was trying to leave positive FB for a seller who left me positive FB. In the past my FB was always uploaded almost instantly, it's been several days.

I do sell some items, but in this case I am a buyer. I did message the seller to thank them and explain about the FB.

Thanks for replying back. It's been a few days and I even tried refreshing the screen, logging out, etc. I never had this problem before, so I'm at a loss as to why it's happening now. I was just curious if anyone else had this same experience...

Now there's the right answer, thank you! As you mentioned, I checked my own FB, clicked on FB left for others, and all was good. I just don't understand why it's not showing up on my purchase page, but now I can sleep tonight!

LOL work abounds for eBay glitch is a full time job some times. Glad to be of assistance.

I, too, am experiencing the same Ebay glitch; left feedback but only evidence is under my 'left for others',  but has yet to show up on their end or under My Purchases which still shows that I need to leave feedback.

Feedback issues started showing up a few days ago. As a Buyer, posted Feedback but did not show up in my Purchase page, but is shown under Feedback Left for Others. Now my Seller  auto feedback is also sporadic in posting feedback for Buyers. eBay says to leave Feedback for Buyers in Seller Hub, but has already auto posted.
