Possible scam

I purchased a steering wheel and pedals for playstation 5 February 14th. Seller said it would ship out February 18th. They created a shipping label in Illinois the 17th. Well February 21st they scanned the shipping label at a usps self service kiosk in California but they didn't drop the package off until February 22nd(today). Well the retail box from the factory is over 22 pounds. The dimensions are bigger than what a self service kiosk can accept. Meaning they would have to go to a counter to drop the package off. I called usps to ask about creating a label in Illinois and having it scanned in California and It asked about my package. Well the dimensions don't add up and the weight of the package is less than 1 pound and it's first class mail  I've tried contacting the seller but I can't get a response. eBay says i was expecting the package feb 21st so i sent a complaint saying I haven't gotten package and  stated what was going on. Ive take screenshots of the listing and our conversation. Shipping says it will arrive  February 25th which is Saturday. I'll be recording and taking pictures of my package before i even open it. What can i do if this is a scam so that I'm not out of $750? I even paid with PayPal. What options am i left with? It says seller doesn't accept returns but i am eligible for ebays money back guarantee. Is there a way this seller can pull off a scam to make it look i am the scammer? Ive honestly never dealt with this before.

Re: Possible scam

I'll be receiving a final answer by tomorrow if the seller doesn't provide the signature of delivery. I tried speaking to them and seeing if my allstate plan would be refunded but they said it only applies to physical items for money back. I tried messaging allstate through eBay but they haven't responded in a few days. Are there other ways to go about contacting Allstate about this?

Yes, they left their phone number on your feedback here, fourth down. AFTER you're refunded for the main transaction @dcason92 you can ask Allstate to refund the warranty as well.

Re: Possible scam

Well Ladies and Gentlemen, they have successfully refunded me my money back. I feel a huge weight off my shoulders. Next step is Allstate.  I want to thank all of you very very much because without y'all i probably would have made even more mistakes by not being patient with the process. I now know what steps to take to avoid any more issues in the future. Thank y'all so much!

Re: Possible scam

I'm very happy you got that refund and sorry that you had to deal with that mess. In future, DO be careful and not jump the gun, because the Money Back Guarantee process does work well, but you need to have all of your ducks in a row right off the bat or you will have issues...

Re: Possible scam

Hey everyone, hope y'all are well. I do have one more question. What happens to the seller?  I left my review but does anything else happen? I know ebay refunded my money but does that come back out of there method of receiving? Or do they still get away with my money and ebay just refunds me? Do they get banned or marked as a scammer or what? I'm genuinely curious.

Thanks!

Re: Possible scam

They will have a dent in their metrics that won't buff out easily.
