How to request total from the seller, step by step

Hi I cannot find the option "request total from the seller" Does anybody can help?

It's only available on the desktop/laptop not the phone app. You can see it when you go to the cart. There is a little box that says request total from seller. Keep in mind that it is only clickable if there are no discounts already taken or sale items in the cart.

The previous reply is correct, but besides the cart not allowing requesting a total for discounted items, it will not work for auction format items placed in the Cart before the auctions ended. The Cart only works with Buy It Now (BIN) listings.

There is another way to request total as well though. If you win several auctions, or can commit to buy without having to immediately pay, from items in your watch list they will all appear in your purchase history in one box and a request total button will be in the box. 

Do keep in mind that combining shipping is not required of sellers, so you should read everything in a listing to see if combined shipping is offered. If it is not contacting the seller before buying would be a good thing to do.

Not true. Open your Google browser and log in to ebay.com. Bring up your cart and the request total from seller option is to the right above your 1st item. I just did it on my tablet. I used logic. Desktop uses website. Log into the website on portable device and it should look the same. It did and I sent my request.
