Help on a return

I purchased a controller on oct 16th, i received it however it was a fake. The seller offered returns so i shipped it back within the amount of time. The seller is now saying they have not received it and opened a case which is now closed. I can no longer view the label and do not have an image of it saved to check shipping. Is there a way i can still see the return label so i can check myself?

Did you buy a return shipping label or did the seller send you one to use?  You should be able to see the tracking number in the dispute console which should be on your ebay summary page. You may be able to access the label from your ebay message history as well. I haven't had to use the returns process in a long time so the return tracking info may be in your purchase history for the item if the seller sent you a label through ebay, click on the Order details button to see if the return info and tracking number is there. 

Telling us how you got the label will help. 

  If you bought your own label, which the seller should have paid for, you should have saved the receipt or at least the tracking number so you could prove it was delivered.  You can also post the 12 digit item number (w/ no hyphens)  here so we can check out the listing and other info.

The label was sent by the seller i believe. I was able to find the qr code in the messages but it will not show  the label because the case has started. I will take that to USPS later to see if i can find out the tracking info. It was a drop off so i didn't get a receipt the day of, but i wont be doing that again.  The item number is 175893272788.

Unless you can show eBay tracking that shows the seller received the package you have no way to appeal the decision. If you do any returns in the future it's important to make a note of the tracking number so you can monitor the package's movement.
