Hi,   I recently sold a graphics card on eBay. It worked perfectly for me but my (2 feedback) buyer is claiming to not get any signal from the card. He's been asking me for help and I've been trying to - he seems not to be very computer literate... I don't know how to proceed with the buyer. I bought a gpu from ebay today and paid successfully via paypal. Payment is done from my side but ebay shows still in process in purchase section.   I then check the advertisement again but it said ' This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing. | View order details '.   After a few minutes It says item removed. there were many who had bought it too. I made a purchase with $5 shipping costs added on. When item was delivered, I received notice from USPS that a "postage due" payment of $9 is required for receipt (was not home to sign/pay so only received USPS invoice). I contacted seller and he basically told me his package was light weight and I should contact Ebay myself. So here we go,   I bought some AirPod Pros thinking that they were authentic, obviously the seller described them as such (I know, I know : I should've known better etc.. please spare me), anyways, I payed immediately after the auction ended, as I do with all my purchases (btw it was late at night), at 1:30am the next day or a few hours after I had paid, I received the shipped notification along with a tracking number. Later that day, I went back to my purchases thinking I made a good purchase and noticed that the seller had continued to sell the same item over and over. They had three items listed for bidding with short amounts of time, after those were over, three more appeared and so on. I found it odd so I started digging into counterfeits. I noticed that the pictures the seller was using over and over for the same listings looked off and after much research noticed that they were in fact fakes. Shocked and disappointed in myself and the seller I decided I was going to write the seller and confront or at the very least ask him/her to confirm or deny. That is when I discovered that the seller had been unregistered by eBay (as obvious consequence, the listing was completely removed). My question is when the item arrives, how can I prove to eBay that it is indeed fake without opening the item? As I saw that eBay obligates buyers to send the item back if recieved as not as described or not authentic. Meaning something as simple as not seeing an IMEI (irrefutable proof) won't be a possible solution since I can't open the item.  How will the seller cover the shipping per eBay rules if they are no longer registered or even respond to the case being opened? Can an unregistered member respond to messages?   So many questions. I hope someone has gone through the same and can give me some sort of advice. ... View more

Ive had a "running tab" with a few sellers of the items I collect, meaning they are allowing me to buy, but not pay yet. Ive been doing this for a month with one seller.   I suddenly got notices saying "MUST PAY BY APRIL 19 TO AVOID CANCELLATION" plastered to these sales in my "Purchases" list. The sellers say they didnt ask Ebay to do this and have no problems with me piling up the sales. Whats odd is that the sales that are the oldest just say "must pay by April 19". Some of the newest ones add the "to avoid cancellation".   Anyone ever hear of or see Ebay doing this? Hello!   After browsing Ebay for nesting dolls, a seller sent me a discount offer on one of their items for "showing interest". But the item information said my country is in the shipping exclusions. I'm in Mexico, the seller is in Russia. Before accepting the offer, I contacted the seller to ask about the shipping and he esponded there's no problem shipping to Mexico - even told me the amount it'd be. So I accepted the offer and requested the total for the shipping. The seller sent me an invoice with the shipping fee added, but trying to pay only shows me the error message that the item does not ship to my location. Did the seller made a mistake when generating the invoice he sent me?   I already contacted the seller to let him know, included screencaps and all. Then I contacted ebay customer support and it wasn't helpful at all. They gave me the option of changing the address (which I can't do), or to ask the seller to "make a personalized invoice".     So I went requested a new invoice from the seller. The next day he replied to the message I sent before requesting the new invoice. He said he made a new listing with "world-wide shipping", so that I could try buying the doll there, but the same shipping exceptions are still there. Despite this, the purchase I'm not allowed to pay hasn't been cancelled by the seller. He even sent a new offer for a different doll... that also excludes my country from shipping.   I'm pretty new to ebay and only have two purchases. In my previous purchase from a different seller the situation was similar, but I didn't have a problem paying the invoice then. I don't want to be annoying pestering the seller with messages, Our timezones are very far apart so I understand that the response time will take at least 1 day, but I'm also worried the purchase will be automatically canceled or that I'll get a case opened against me/strike for not paying. I don't want the seller to think I'm trying to scam him either. I'm getting pretty worried because I really want the dolls and the seller seems pretty good, he has been very attentive to my messages.  We're communicating in English, but I'm not sure if there's still a language barrier factor going on. Found a few possible solutions to mention to the seller later on, if the problem persists. But I wanted to post this to see if there are any suggestions for this particular case. Hello: When I looked at my credit, Repack/restock charge was issued when returned Firestick.  I repacked very carefully for safe-transit which is only two days' delivery distance.  There is no indication as to 'restock charge' if the item was returned, then I was surprised to know about 'repack/restock' charge.'   Just wondering whether all electric items, PC, TV and related items  have 'restock' charge which is about 15-20%.   Thanks for your inputs on this regard.  ... Hello eBayers, I recently bought an iPhone from a seller described as “ with one year Applecare.” Still, when the phone arrived, I checked its IMEI on the apple website, it shows that the Applecare has been expired, I contacted the seller, and she refused to refund because she listed it as none-refundable. Besides, she claimed that the phone is in excellent condition, but when I checked the screen through normal light, there are a lot of minor scratches. I bought a Husqvarna embroidery sewing machine that said it had a USB port when I got it it had a floppy drive. I suggested to the seller that he exchange the machine he sent me for a different one he had for sale, the other machine he had for sale was an upgrade from the one I had. I literally purchased and item and instantly hit cancel payment. I paid with debit card. I sent the seller a message and they were absolutely amazing and understood and cancelled the transaction all within minutes of the purchase. its been an hour now and still says cancellation pending.
