Looking for a Barbie book, soft cover, probably produced in the 1960s that contained three stories. In one story, Barbie tried out for a play but had a cold. In another story, she and a friend went to either the lake or a beach and ecnountered lots of funny situations. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Trying to purchase a  Christmas gift. Thanks.

Doesn't ring any bells for me, sorry. I did a quick web search and didn't see anything that was obviously like you describe, but you might want to try yourself -- even use different search terms, and maybe you can come up with it.
