BOYCOTT EBAY'S UNETHICAL SELLER POLICIES
As a long time ebay seller, I have watched as this company has evolved into an ENDLESSLY greedy entity. Sellers all over are getting tired of being soaked by eBay's increasingly growing seller fees AND PayPal transaction fees for items bought on ebay. Paypal is an ebay owned company. So why charge ebay sellers transaction fees for transactions that have already been taxed by them on ebay. They are also charging final sale value fees to the postage and handling that sellers require of the buyers to recover costs for packing materials and postage needed to ship items to their customers. Also' negative feedback is no longer possible from Seller to Buyer. This leaves honest sellers at the mercy of adverse buyers. Lets keep ALL ebayers honest by allowing feedback to be given equally between buyers and sellers. That is what feedback is for. Feedback profiles are available for view publicly in the ebay community. So why not let the individual ebayer decide for him or herself if the buyer or the seller was in the wrong. It doesn't make sense that a seller reviews a bidder's feedback profile to see nothing but positive feedback. Or even worse, the seller sees that the buyer's positive feedbacks are accompanied with negative comments from previous sellers that had bad experiences with that buyer and therefore left with no other recourse but to respond negatively on a forced POSITIVE feedback if any is to be left from seller to buyer. Its is also not fair to put sellers in a vice by triple dipping with seller fees, and limiting sellers to the point of leaving ebay. After 15 years of being an honest small time time ebay seller, I will be not be listing anymore items for sale here until ebay makes some serious changes to their seller fees and feedback policies. We as the sellers, are the backbone of ebay so we shouldn't be treated as the over taxed poppers nor the whipping posts of their perversely unethical seller fees and seller policies. Without sellers, ebay does not exist. There are many other sites that you can sell your merchandise on for REASONABLE fees that have very simplified policies instead of a law library of books meant to serve as a "user policy". Large user policies are lawyer drawn smokescreens of endless legal jibberish in which to confuse the average minded person.
Please follow me in a one year boycott of ebay sales to let them know that we are sick of their greed and their attitude of indifference when it comes to the sellers that keep them alive. Especially the small time, non commercialized sellers.
Let them see what happens when they muzzle the oxen that tread the corn.
