upload error message

I am trying to upload a j peg picture file to a seller. I keep getting this error code:  

One or more files failed to upload because of server error. Please remove the failed files and try again. Is there a work around for this? I tried different size files and changing from Google to Firefox. Nothing helps. Any help would be appreciated.
