I recently sold a pair of vintage earrings to a customer who used the GPS. I received an email today from Ebay stating that the item was deemed restricted and the buyer was refunded. I've been selling vintage jewelry using the GPS for years. This item is not on the restricted list, was not over the weight limit, and was sent to a GPS country. Anyone else having this problem? I received notice like a lot of sellers a while back about receiving 50,000 free insertion fees when listing without having to activate it monthly.  It is not being applied.   I just went through the Ebay system for a return call.  It was the most pathetic experience I've ever had.  It was like yelling to a stranger in a crowd to help me.    I am in the process of ending all 4500 of my listings.  Is there an actual Ebay employee that can look into this for me? ... Does anyone know how to address shipping validation issues with eBay? It says that I have missed 3.   The first was a glitch in the software eBay knew about and admitted that it wouldn't hurt my seller level yet it has. Does anyone know how to report a seller?   I bought a women's chunky cable knitted oversized longline hooded cardigan  for £26.90 and received the exact opposite. quality was disgusting and it didn't have a hood. I contacted the seller and sent a pic of what I received and he offered to send back half the money and for me to keep the item. i declined as the item was so tacky I couldn't wear it anywhere so asked for a full refund I'd return the item. the return fee was half the price i paid for the item so i contacted again to agree to the initial offer. he then asked that I close the case in order for the money to be sent. in a naive moment I agreed and haven't heard back from him or received my refund and contacted him again twice. I've purchased many items on eBay over 10 years and never had such an experience! I purchased an item 12/28/2020.  I checked the status yesterday 1/6/2021 because the item was never received.  I then learned the item was never shipped and also the seller was no longer a registered on eBay.   I tried to follow any sort of channel via eBay to report the issue, however I can find no way to contact eBay.  All I can see are articles from eBay advising me to contact the seller first, however this is not possible when the seller is no longer registered on eBay!  Apparently no one at eBay thought about this possibility? It seems rather odd there is no way for me, the buyer, to have any way to find out from anyone at eBay how this can happen.  I checked with Paypal and learned the traction had been completed and processed back on 12/28/2020 and I was charged when nothing was ever shipped or delivered.  Now I have to take further steps to see what can be done because I paid for the purchase.  I see no way to get any assistance from eBay.  They allowed a seller to initiate orders and then un-register their account without completing the transaction and then not stand behind the transaction at all. ...
