purchased item without logging in / now can't return it. Help

so, we purchased an item, have the email with the order number, item number and tracking detail, but because my wife didn't login to our account, I can't seem to return the item that wasn't working.  Can anyone help me with this?

You should have received an email with the subject "Guest Order" that has details about tracking and returns. If you cannot find this email, there is a way to resend here:

Below is a link to the eBay Help pages on Buying as a Guest ... if your purchased outside your account then this is most likely what happened.  You can return the item but you will not be able to leave Feedback for the Seller.
