please help

I wrote it in the description section, its condition is broken, damaged. I've written badly in the Conditioning section.
Therefore, the sale is 50% cheaper. The customer received the product and filed a return case because it was broken.
I do not know what to do. The product is more broken. This is not possible. Help me! Please. It was a valuable object.

Re: please help

You can't call an item used or new and then say it is broken.  You must accept the return, pay for the return shipping and give the buyer a full refund.

Re: please help

ok.

There is a product and it is damaged . You open a sale ad. You write in the description. In the title part of the sales advertisement, you write that it is damaged and broken.
You add photos. The product price is 2600 dollars, but you sell it for 1400 dollars due to damage. You correspond for two days. Then you send the product. A mail comes and the customer does not want full payment because the product is broken. Is this fair? or bargain?
your opinion?

Re: please help

I think any time you try to sell a defective item for that much money on this site, it is not going to go well, no matter the discount you offer.

I would pay for the return shipping and issue the refund. Then try to sell it in person, where your buyer can inspect it before paying.

< Is this fair? >

Yes.  Because the buyer followed the rules.  Maybe because of a technicality, but it still counts.  You should have known the rules going in.  You didn't know the rules, so you're now being inconvenienced.  It could have ended more badly.

< or bargain? >

Bargains are like beauty.  They're in the eye of the beholder.  What one person thinks is a bargain, another person might consider exorbitant.

Re: please help

Hi @toysroom   You're in Turkey.  What county is your buyer in?  Is it the Belle?  If you're going to list on eBay-US you must be prepared to pay international shipping two ways in case of a problem.  It sounds like the buyer would take a partial refund >> the customer does not want full payment because the product is broken <<.   If you don't want to pay shipping to get it back, why don't you offer them a partial refund?  A partial refund of at least as much as the shipping to get it back would cost you.  It's not an ideal solution, but problems are not ideal situations.  You have to stay flexible in order to find a workable solution.

As an aside, you seem to have had many recent sales, but your selling feedback score is only 2, and you've only left 3 feedback for buyers.  What's up with that?  It makes your account look less than great.  Good luck!
