Is this a legitimate website and does Ebay request a social security number with a link via an email? "riskremedyweb" seems super odd for an ebay address!

IDK about that link you reference and I'm not going to click on it.  But Ebay may tell you they need your SSN in an email, but they will not want you to fill it in with an email.  You need to ONLY do that on the Ebay site.

Please review the below link carefully. It contains very important information as to how Ebay needs to see the information you provide them on your account. It is likely easier to change your Ebay account to match your bank account if you find there to be a difference.
