browser closing while using e bay

recently , within the last couple days when i enter the e bay web page through microsoft edge browser  the browser will just shut down some time it happens very quickly other times it may take a minute or two . it doesnt effect my computer , in fact when i reopen the browser window it say in the upper corner browser closed un expectedly  click to recover but the same occurs . have searched and found no solutions that work
