authentification process

My item that I sold has to go through authentification.  Does it get shipped to someone besides the buyer and am I charged for this?

eBay will provide the address of the authenticator if that is where it is to go. There is no charge for authentication.

When you ship, be sure to add signature confirmation. I would also add more insurance since your label will include only $100 of coverage.
