Using a VPN When Transacting Business on eBay?

I use a VPN on my desktop PC where I do eBay transactions exclusively. Can that falsely indicate someone else is using my account as the VPN shows a different city?  Should I turn it off when on eBay? Thanks.

If you use a VPN that constantly changes your IP-address or hides your location, eBay will not be able to recognize your computer and will likely send you a "new device" sign-in message, and eBay may require additional verification when you sign in.

eBay is trying to protect you from a potential situation where someone has stolen your laptop or has found out your eBay password and is trying to take over your eBay account to make fraudulent purchases or sales. eBay wants to be sure that it is you using your account and not some unauthorized scammer.
