I am unable to respond to seller offers. I keep getting an alert that my app is outdated & that I need to update it. I have uninstalled & reinstalled a few times with no difference. I haven't seen a newer version & when I called, the agent didn't seem to know much about anything. She kept telling me to uninstall & reinstall...over & over...even though I plainly stated multiple times that I had already did the whole uninstall & reinstall as well as searching the app store for an updated version. I do not have any suspensions or anything else on my account. I just cannot respond to any seller offers...that's all. What's going on? What do I need to do to be able to respond? Thank you.

What version number of the eBay app do you have now?
What operating system version are you using?
Did you try restarting your device between uninstalling and reinstalling?

I have a Samsung tablet for all of my online everything... no laptop, computer & it's not on phone. Yea. I've tried the on/off as well. It's only happening when I try to respond to a seller's offer. I can still purchase as long as the seller hasn't sent me an offer. If I'm sent an offer, I can't purchase or respond. This is a new development for me...been about a week. I've been with Ebay since before 2010 with absolutely no problems. I'm perplexed to say the least.

What version number of the app are you using? What operating system version?
Try using a browser instead of the app. If necessary, you may need to go to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Open supported links and set it to not open eBay links in the app.
