The tracking says that the item I sent to the buyer is still in transit.
I contacted the buyer and was informed that the item was indeed delivered.
What happens now?
How do I get paid?

Hi @msl-1248
Check the tracking number on both USPS and eBay's sold item. If USPS shows delivered but eBay doesn't give it another day for the system to catch up. As long as the Buyer does not file a claim that they did not receive the item there is nothing to worry about.
As a newer Seller your funds may be on hold a little longer than normal until the tracking updates.

Hi @msl-1248
Payments are not released as soon as the package is delivered. Per eBay's payment holds policy:
New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers typically experience holds for up to 30 days, although sometimes it may be longer.
