I am a new seller and am not sure I did the shipping piece correctly. I selected the buyer pays shipping based on location. I selected 4 different USPS options for for the buyer. I input the weight and dimensions of a priority mail box that I have. When that item sells, there would be a potential the weight and dimensions of the box could change based upon what option the buyer selected. Will I have an option to update the information before printing the label. Also not sure how that would work with charging the customer. The last question I have is if I have something that weighs 1lb 2oz, do I need to round up when inputting the weight? Any guidance would be appreciated.

The weight and dimension will not change if you choose a different shipping option. The seller will choose the option they prefer and yes you need to round up when weighing a package. You do not need to give four options, make it simpler for you and give two options.

-Yes round your weights up to the next pound amount so the 1 lbs - 2 oz you would list as 2 lbs on the listing form. USPS will round up too just so you know.
-I use ONE shipping method per listing, period. Until you know what you are doing just select regular Priority mail for packages over 1 lbs ... each USPS Priority Flat Rate box has different dimensions AND different charges. If you offer 4 and the Buyer selects the smallest and cheapest one BUT the actual box you use is the largest and most expensive YOU pay the extra postage NOT the Buyer ...
So in basic terms once a purchase is made you can not go back to the Buyer for more money.

So glad I asked about this! Thank you!! And just to clarify, if I select Priority and not Priority Flat Rate, then the box dimensions don’t matter? I have Priority medium and large boxes from them already.

@kreifelecomme0 Correct, you make a custom size box with any dimensions opposed to fixed size Flat rate boxes. Depending on box length there might be surcharges like they were adding before Christmas ... $ 4 for lengths over 22 inches to around 34" then another $ 15 for lengths over 34"
You can always change from the regular Priority Mail rate to a flat rate box AFTER the sale if there is a cost savings ... but base your listing weight and dimensions on the smallest box L x W x H to ship the item securely.
