Is there a way to search in eBay and eliminated certain items from coming up? I'm thinking primarily of DVDs and CDs that are Disc Only . Thanks in advance for any help.

You can eliminate listings that contain certain keywords or phrases from your search results. Whether that will eliminate all such listings depends on the title and item-specifics each seller uses, though.
To eliminate keywords from your results, put a minus sign or a dash directly in front of the keyword or phrase you want to exclude like this:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/617/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=harry+potter+dvd+-disk.only+-disc.only
Use punctuation like a period or dash to link keywords that must appear in consecutive order in a keyword phrase or an exclusion phrase. You can also put quotes around keywords or phrases to group them.
There may be category-specific filter options that allow you to choose particular editions or box sets; that may be another way to exclude various disc only options.

Thanks so much for your reply. I've experimented with it in the eBay search bar with limited success. Can you show me an example? How would I type in the search for Salt DVD without getting results for disk only? Thanks again for your help.
