Return request issue

Hi I’m having a problem opening a return request. 

 I’m getting this message from eBay. 

 

Then I go to open the request and it says this above.

I had originally opened a “Item didn’t arrive” refund which was closed by eBay. Then I opened an appeal which got an emailed response from an eBay representative. But it wasn’t ever closed so that I could open a return request. 

I shipped the package back already. I also tried to contact the seller who isn’t responding. I don't really know what to do now. I’m stuck and I just want my money back.

Instead of an appeal, a better option was requesting a return.

Advice for now: contact eBay. Ask for help to request a return.

Is there a phone number I can call? There doesn’t seem to be one that I can see.

Hi @jape6809 

How did you get the seller's address to return it if the seller never responded?  If you used the address on the package ... it may not have been the address the seller uses to get items back.

Did you purchase tracking on the package?  Does it show that it was returned yet?

Once we understand exactly what you did ... we can tell you what your options are now.

I returned it his local post office. I’m still waiting to see if he responds. I’ve wanted to open a return request a but there’s no way to get in contact with eBay to get them to properly close the appeal I sent.
