Do redemption codes have the same first 9 numbers I believe I have been scammed

If you sent a copy of the back of the gift card, you have indeed been scammed.  Those first 9 digits are printed on the back of the card.  If you gave the scammer the code under the scratch off, then the scammer has the complete code.  Gift cards are non traceable and non refundable.  That is why scammers ask for them.

No, but the first nine numbers are revealed in that real long number at the bottom edge of the card.  The thief got the first nine from down there, and then of course you gave him the last four.  This is a common scam.
