Received wrong item

I was sent the wrong item from a seller by mistake. The seller is asking me if I can do him a favor by mailing this package to the correct buyer. They have supplied me with their mailing address and states they will refund me the cost in shipping. I do not feel comfortable mailing this unknown package. What should I do?

Don't do it!!

File a Return Request so you can ship it back to the seller and then they can send it to the correct buyer.

• Go to your Purchase History, find the item, and under “More actions” click on “Return item” and select the reason for the return. “wrong item received".  Attach a photo.
• The seller will have 3 business days to either accept the return and provide a prepaid return shipping label OR refund without having you return the item.
• If they don't do either, you can go back to your Return Request details 4 business days after you filed the Request and ask Ebay to step in.
