Quick question

I know I have to pay taxes on items sold on ebay. But, my question is how much can I sell on ebay before I am required to register has a business. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

@jenn8-99   You only have to register as  business on eBay.com if you are a legal business.   

 

You can sell as individual, which is what I have been doing for 10 years.     When you file your income taxes you deduct eBay fees, returns, shipping and any other expenses from your gross receipts.  I also deduct the item cost.    Check with an accountant to see what you are allowed to deduct in your state.
