Pausing a single listing

While performing inventory there may be a time when an item is not located but I know I have it and may find it later during the inventory process. While doing this I would like to temporarily place a hold on this one listing. Is there a way to place this hold. I do not want to end and relist, just need a few day to try to locate the item.

Pausing a single listing

No, there is no way to pause a single listing.  The only other option to ending and relisting would be to use the out of stock option.  This keeps items active after there are 0 available so you can restock.  So you could change the item to 0, then when you locate it, change it back to the correct quantity.

The out of stock option applies to all listings, so when you sell out of an item and do not intend to get more, you would have to remember to manually end it.  Out of stock items will remain active for 6 months before ending on their own.
