Not recieving verification code

 When I request the code to verify that I want to sell an item it never arrives. Not via text or call. I did start my ebay account when I was living overseas but my address and phone number are all changed back to the US and have been for 10 years. I have no issues buying. First time I'm trying to sell. Phone number was re-entered into my account and verified but still no luck.

Make sure the name on your ebay account matches exactly to the name on your checking account.


Make sure your registered address is a physical location, and not a P.O. box. You can change it later.

Thank you for the reply. I found out that because I started my ebay account 18 years ago while living in Spain, it will now be registered as a Spanish account forever. I have been in NJ since 2013 and all my personal info was switched over when I arrived here. So even though it's been quite a few years since I've been overseas, my account will always register as a foreign account and I can not sell at all. Ebay have told me that there is no way of switching the region due to international currency laws. I would have to make a different account in order to sell something. I will not be making another account as I don't want to loose 18 years of perfect feedback. I find it pretty irritating that I can't change my own region. So anyone that has ever made an account will be restricted and unable to switch regions if they should ever leave the accounts country of origin.
