Not having a collection code

Hi I have not received any collection QR code nor 6 digit code and sell is asking for one. This is for a collection. I am wondering if these are always sent out. My seller thinks that unless I provide the code then the sale cannot be competed and the money is not released. I must admit that this 'code' thing is new to me.

@m2003048   If the seller is new without the code their funds are held up to 21 days since they will not have tracking proof of delivery but they will be paid.

If you leave feedback that the item was received AND the seller contacts CS they might be able to get the funds released sooner.

The email with the code is only sent if the listing was Local Pick Up and you chose that option at checkout.  The code may be in your email spam folder.  

The seller can also have you sign a copy of the invoice, but this will not help get their funds released sooner.
