For over a week now, whenever I add a new listing it does not show up correctly as a Newly Listed item.
When I list a new item it only shows up correctly when I view "Active" listings from my Seller Hub and sort all Active listings by the "Start date", with newest listings at the top. There's my new listing, right at the top where it should be.
But when I go to my Store and I scroll down below the customizable sections to the "Newly Listed" items, it doesn't show up. The item I just listed should be the first one shown, but it isn't there. Additionally, when I go below "Newly Listed" items to the "All Items" area, I sort by "Time: newly listed" and it doesn't show up there either.
For 9 days straight now it has failed to show my newly listed items at the top of the list when sorting by "Newly listed", so customers have to sort through 1100+ listings in my store to find the newly listed items mixed throughout instead of seeing them on top in the order they were listed.
Oddly, the listings sort properly on the eBay mobile app, but from multiple laptops and desktops it doesn't work using several different browsers and the problem has been reproducible by eBay's tech support. Also, the indexing time of new listings is not an issue here because I've tried listing over 60 items since this problem began 9 days ago and none of them show up correctly. I was informed multiple times that indexing takes up to 24hrs.
I've contacted eBay support multiple times and they all see the problem and they've submitted multiple requests for this to be resolved, but so far nothing. They've told me 24hrs and it should be resolved, then 24-48hrs, then "could be 4-5 business days", and now today eBay says they're still waiting for it to be looked into but "this isn't impacting many sellers".
I'm hopeful that someone here may know what's going on if they've seen this before.
