How to override VPN settings for mailing address

I am getting no help from Ebay on this one. I usually run my internet through my VPN, but my VPN says I am not in Minnesota, although I am and have been for over 300 transactions with E bay, so for years. Why does Ebay have so much trouble overriding a virtual address and using a shipping address.

That is how VPNs work.

By using a Virtual Private Network, you are connecting your computer to another network located far away, and eBay sees the location of the network you are connected to, not the location of your computer.
