Hidden orders no longer hidden??

Has anyone noticed that for maybe the last three or four days, the summary and purchases landing pages are now showing orders that have been hidden?  This started at the same time the system changed how the pictures in a listing are handled.

Come on eBay...when I "hide" an order, it means I am finished with it and no longer need/want to see it unless I specifically click the button to show "hidden" orders.  Fix whatever you broke with that last update!

Re: Hidden orders no longer hidden??

eBay has changed the Purchase History page -- the default is no longer the last sixty days, but the last three years.

Some older, previously hidden items are apparently no longer hidden, and there is no option to hide old transactions, only newer ones.

One possible workaround is to bookmark a page that shows recent transactions, hide the transactions you want to hide, and then use the bookmark in place of eBay's link unless or until eBay fixes the old link.

Re: Hidden orders no longer hidden??

Actually it's not just the purchase history page...it's also happening on the "Orders" area of the summary page.  Basically any page that shows orders and/or purchases.  As you said, the listing limit seems to have changed.  In my case the default is "All", which may in fact just mean the past three years.

I've been playing around a bit and found that if you set the "See Orders" selection to either "2023" or "2022", it works correctly...you ONLY see orders that have NOT been hidden.  However, the other two selections ("All" and "2021") display EVERYTHING, including hidden orders.

Apparently for "All" and "2021" the queries they are using no longer include the "not hidden" filter like they used to.  There's still a button labeled "Show Hidden" on all  of the "See Orders" choices, so apparently they'd still intended to exclude hidden orders by default.  They just messed up "All" and "2021" and forgot to honor the "hidden" attribute.
