Hello,
I have a custom HTML template that is used on all my listings. It was formatted correctly so that it was easy to edit when viewing as HTML code with separated lines of code.
Only recently when I view the HTML it has been reformatted into a single 'block' of code with no line returns.
This has made it very difficult to easily read and understand and then make the correct changes when required.
Is there a way for me to change this now compressed HTML code back to having line breaks without having to edit over 250 individual listings?
Thanks

eBay's code rewriters and bulk tools tend to string the description into one long line of code. This can also be browser-specific. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to reformat those codes in bulk. The problem is, while a third-party tool could reformat the code, the only way to bulk upload the revisions back to eBay is via spreadsheet, and a spreadsheet upload would require you to convert the description back to one long line of code (no line returns) for CSV upload to eBay.
If you need to revise a single listing, then you may want to use a third-party tool to reformat the code so you can edit the HTML, and thus perform that step one listing at a time and only when needed.
The alternative is to edit your description in rich-text mode, rather than in HTML. You will have to be careful that your cursor is placed within the text you want to edit and that it doesn't disrupt the HTML. One way to do that is to place the cursor one-letter shy of the either end of the style you are editing, make the changes for that block of code and then backspace or forward delete the final letter that will be up against an HTML tag.
