Counterfeit/Fake PS3 Controllers

I was looking for an Original OEM PLAYSTATION 3 Controller. I thought the one I purchased was but when I tried to play a certain game I learned there was no SixAxis Motion Sensor. Yet the item was advertised and even labeled on the product itself as having SixAxis. Since then Ive been reading numerous reviews(which I shouldve done in the first place) on other "Original Genuine PS3 Controllers" posts on ebay, all of which have reviews of Fake/Knock-off/Counterfeit Controller claims.

When I look at the controller I bought I had no doubts it was Authentic. It looks and feels just like the real Sony PS3 controller. Synced with console, no problem. It even wirelessly  turns the console on. But after about a week I tried to calibrate the controller... nothing. That's the only way I learned that it's not an original. So I dont doubt why many people still believe theres is a real Sony product.

Long story short why does ebay still allow these frauds to continue selling these bogus products?
