Calculated Shipping Doubling Rates

I've been experiencing this problem ever since I started trying to use calculated shipping many years ago. The calculated shipping feature always seems to double the actual shipping rates, which is why I never use it because it misleads buyers dramatically, especially on large boxes. For example, a package showing as costing over $125 to ship on calculated shipping costed $68.05 actual, via the same shipping carrier and method. Do you have your Shipping Preferences set to pass on your ebay discounts?  If not the buyer sees full retails rates, which for UPS can be almost double.

Thank you for the quick answer! Do you know how to update the 'Shipping Preferences'? I can't find that setting anywhere when editing the shipping policy. Thanks again!

Select: Offer eBay-negotiated discount rates

The 'Offer eBay-negotiated discount rates.' doesn't work at all, while the 'Offer a discount' does work. I will try and pass this through to eBay's support team unless you can think of another solution. Thanks again for your expertise on this!

I assume you also checked the box for UPS.  That should work just fine.

Yes, photo provided. eBay doesn't seem to be able to figure it out either as I haven't heard back from their support team. I'll keep trying here on my end.

This is starting to look more like a problem specific to your account, or there would be many complaints coming in, if it was site wide.   At the very least they should be able to go in and select it for you until the glitch or whatever is fixed.
