Auto Pay

Somehow I'm got put on Auto pay so when I win something it automactically takes the money out . I didnt sign up for auto pay.

I also sell things on ebay and some guy on there got put on auto pay and I couldnt combine shipping for him because the auto pay paid everything he won and didnt give me a chance to combine shipping. I had to issue a refund and the fee came out of his refund money automatically. Where did this auto pay come from?

It is up to the seller whether a payment method is required in advance for a bid or an offer.

eBay is experimenting with allowing buyers some time after an auction ends to either combine items or choose another payment method before the original payment method is charged automatically.

Ebay autopayments is not something buyers sign up for.

Ebay created autopayments to cut down on the number of non-paying buyers.
