Hi community,
I’m trying to do my 1st listing.
When it gets to verify my address
it won’t recognize my address.
I live in the mountains.
We have PO Boxes.
It wont except my PO Box and when I enter my physical address the system wont recognize my physical address. I can’t find any way to email or call customer support and chat bot is useless. How can I talk to a real person about this issue. Have had no issues with my address as buyer for many years. Just a problem now that I’m trying to sell. Tia

I have a similarly nebulous address (actually a 40 year accumulation of varying addresses), as the post office and carrier services have been "correcting" my address over the years while moving toward "standardization" (one of my addresses is the location of a telephone pole out on the highway, and for the life of me, I can't get the telephone company to change it).
When complying with federal KYC (know-your-customer) laws at your bank, you had to provide a physical address. That is the address to use for eBay, since the two must match.
The USPS has been leading the standardization, so you might ask your local post office what your address would be if you had one; or look up your address here:

The problem may simply be a matter of abbreviations.
If you can not provide an "acceptable" address, you will likely be required to upload documentation to eBay that can further identify and link you to your address. To contact an agent, scroll to the bottom of this help page and click the "Contact us" button and type "agent" into the chat that opens.
