I'm with you Arleene - I have a whole rubbermaid container full and haven't used them in YEARS!! I used them when it was "neat" to make party invitations for your kid's.

This is gonna sound dumb - but do they dry rot? http://www.sparklee.com - glitter text

I don't know but am going to get mine out today. Some are rubber and some are plastic or those new clear ones.

I can't say for certainty that all rubber stamps would suffer from dry rot, because maybe someone knows how to preserve them? But I do have an old old rubber stamp that is disintegrating in the parts of the design that are very thin lines. It's probably at least 20 years old.

Okay all you stampaphobics here is your 4 step program. 1. choose a stamp 2. choose a ink pad 3. put stamp in ink. 4. Now put stamp to paper Voila!!! Now start a new thread with your works of art and show everyone what a little therapy can do. Okay gotta go work on my ugly paper challenge man I wish Feb. was a loner month.

I stamped! I will show later - but warning... VERY addictive. I started to want to stamp everything with just "one more flourish" but stopped myself (I hope) from overdoing it. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Ok - here are some pics of stamped mats I used in a pb book. They are my first, so... if they are totally funky... please break it to me gently :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this thread. I read through everyone's ideas for what will be the next new thing in scrapbooking and did not hear anything new. Everything stated has been used already. I have no idea what will be the next new thing. I guess we will have to wait and see. However, I do not see any of the stated ideas going out any time soon.

Have fun girls!
