Help with a lamp please -

Not sure if this lamp would be mid century mod or not. It is 19 1/2" tall (the top of the socket), wood on the bottom and metal with little white diamond shaped indentions. No maker's name (bottom has felt on it - have not taken it off). Any idea on the maker and age? Will make better photos for auction.

YUP..it sure is!! I wouldn't know the maker's name but the age would be middle to late 50's. This is a like the ones people refer to as mid-century Danish Modern! I really LOVE the stars motif. They are my favorite!! You won't find anything if you take the felt off the bottom, unless someone hid their money there long ago..but I doubt it! Very few of these lamps have any maker's names on them.

ok - thanks so much for the info. oh how i NEED the bottom to be stuffed with $, my luck it would just be another bill that i would have to pay!
