I placed my first two bids on Ebay tonight missed with 1st one - (not prepared to bid enough) still a 5 second bid.
Second one was better Auction number #3215637090 another 5 second effort but won this time,
All due to reading the advice on these boards especially Tiptie's Snipning School that I printed out this morning
It sure is fun when you win for the first time after following such good advice.

buttermutt, I've had very good luck emailing sellers and asking if they're going to relist. Lots of times they'll just offer you the thing, and most are happy to oblige if you ask them to relist with a BIN, especially if you have them add a couple of bucks for their trouble.

I noticed the collision with the other very late proxy bidder (an early sniper) - but you had a little more moxie and won by less than one increment - great job !!!
