Would this be called a cassolette

"Cassolette (from the diminutive form of the French word cassole, a small container) may refer to: A small porcelain, glass, or metal container used for the cooking and serving of individual dishes."

 

It looks like an urn.

May OP consulted an old dictionary.  This is from the 1913 edition of Webster's Dictionary, which is on-line because its copyright has expired and it is now in the public domain:

" || Cas`so*lette" (?), n. [F.] a box, or vase, with a perforated cover to emit perfumes."

I have never heard that use, mind you, but  I'm just speculating on where OP might have got the term.

 

 Like you, I'd just call it an URN, on a footed marble base.
