This is a small grouping of carved Asian figures and netsukes. Many have holes for a cord to pass through. Some items are simply small figures either attached - or not attached - to wood bases. The items shown in the center of the main image are quite white (bovine bone?) and others are more yellowed bone. All have been tested with a hot needle and none penetrated the surface of any of the items - does this mean not resin? All the items are very hard. Many have small markings to - I believe - identify the artisan. Many of these items have 2 holes for a single cord to pass through. The man shown at the far right middle is extremely detailed. I would love to know their age, construction materials, value and country of origin. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please see all attached images. Thank you so much!
